Dear Wyandotte County Fair Participants,

This letter is to inform you of the changes that have occurred for the 2009 Fair Event as a result of not having our permanent location finalized.

As you may have heard, the KC Woodlands is going through some changes and is not available for use for the 2009 Fair/Event. In our search for another location we were unable to locate any other facilities in Wyandotte County that would accommodate and offer the proper security for the Fair/Event. Therefore the Fair Association has made the decision to hold a 4-H Livestock/Exhibit event allowing our 4-H'ers to qualify for the State Fair. This event is going to be held at the Leavenworth County Fairgrounds in Tonganoxie, KS July 28- July 31, 2009

We will NOT be having any Open Class exhibits or offering any booth space for exhibitors or concessions, Entertainment or Carnival for the 2009 year.

We would like to take this time to also say how much we have appreciated your help, support and involvement in the Wyandotte County Fair and look forward to bringing ALL our attractions back for the 2010 Season. We will keep all of you informed on the progress of our new development as we move along and look forward to working with you again in the VERY near future.
