About the Wyandotte County Fair Foundation Scholarship Program
The Wyandotte County Fair Foundation was established in 2007 by the Board of Directors of the Wyandotte County Fair Association to promote post-secondary education among students connected to the Wyandotte County community. The Foundation awards scholarships to eligible students who have participated in the Wyandotte County Fair, 4-H, or local community activities.
Applicants eligible for consideration include:

Students who have graduated or will graduate from a high school located in Wyandotte County, Kansas

Students who have participated in the 4-H program within Wyandotte County, Kansas

Current Wyandotte County Fair Foundation scholarship recipients reapplying
Participation in 4-H is not required for eligibility.

Scholarship Eligibility:
To be considered for a Wyandotte County Fair Foundation scholarship, applicants must:

Graduate from (or plan to graduate from) a high school located in Wyandotte County, Kansas

Or have participated in Wyandotte County 4-H

Plan to enroll in an accredited post-secondary educational program (college, technical, or other accredited program)

Demonstrate prior scholastic achievement through submission of a transcript

Submit a completed online scholarship application, including required supporting documents
Current scholarship recipients may reapply in subsequent years.
Applications are reviewed by the Wyandotte County Fair Foundation Scholarship Committee.
Scholarship recipients are notified following the application deadline. Committee decisions are final.
